Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 20, 2026
TrueInsights CFO, LLC ("TrueInsights," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly:
- Contact Information: When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and message content.
- Communication Preferences: Your preferred contact person and how you heard about us.
- Scheduling Information: When you book an appointment through our Calendly integration, Calendly collects your name, email, and appointment details according to their privacy policy.
Information Collected Automatically:
- Anonymous Usage Analytics: We operate a first-party analytics system that records which pages are visited, how long visitors spend on each page, the approximate city and state of the visitor (derived from the visitor's IP address; the IP address itself is never stored), the type of device, browser, and operating system used, and the external website that referred the visitor to our site. We also record certain on-site interactions, such as clicking a "Schedule a Call" button, opening our secure document upload portal, or starting one of our forms, so we can understand how visitors use the site. This data is collected for internal marketing analysis only and is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Visitor and Campaign Identifiers: Each visit is assigned a random anonymous session identifier, stored in your browser's sessionStorage and automatically deleted when you close the tab. We also store a separate anonymous visitor identifier and visit count in your browser's local storage, which persists across visits (until you clear your browser's site data) so we can distinguish new visitors from returning ones. If you arrive at our site through an advertisement or marketing link (for example, one containing UTM parameters or a Google click identifier), we store that campaign information in local storage on your first visit so we can understand which marketing channels are effective. None of these identifiers contain your name, email, or other directly identifying information on their own.
- Log Data: Our web host (Netlify) automatically collects standard server logs including browser type and access times in accordance with their standard practices.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Analytics: Google Analytics sets cookies (including
_gaand_ga_*) to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited and session duration. These cookies persist for up to 2 years. - Advertising: Google Ads sets a conversion tracking cookie (
_gcl_au) with a 90-day lifespan to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. - Advertising (LinkedIn): LinkedIn's Insight Tag sets cookies (including
bcookie,li_sugr,UserMatchHistory,AnalyticsSyncHistory, andlidc) used for ad conversion tracking and audience matching when you arrive at our site after clicking a LinkedIn ad. See LinkedIn's Cookie Policy for details. - Session Analytics: Our first-party analytics system uses your browser's sessionStorage (not cookies) to store a temporary anonymous session identifier that is deleted automatically when you close the tab.
- Persistent Visitor Identifiers: Our first-party analytics system also uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to store an anonymous visitor identifier, a visit count, and, if applicable, campaign information from the advertisement or link that brought you to our site. Unlike sessionStorage, this data persists across browser sessions until you clear your browser's site data; we do not set our own expiration on it.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of Google's tracking across sites, visit Google's Privacy Controls or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
