About
Jarrett has been helping friends and family make sense of their finances since 2015, when he was 16, an early interest that grew into a full career. He founded TrueInsights CFO, LLC in January 2024 to bring that same hands-on approach to fractional CFO services and strategic financial consulting for small and medium-sized businesses. He earned his MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business in 2025 and holds a degree in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business, graduating in 2020.
Before founding TrueInsights CFO, Jarrett served as Chief Financial Officer at a financial services firm, where he managed financial operations, led strategic planning initiatives, and implemented systems to improve operational efficiency. This experience provided direct exposure to the financial management challenges that growing businesses face.
Jarrett works directly with business owners on the financial side of running a company: building the reporting a bank or investor actually wants to see, catching cash flow problems before they turn into emergencies, and giving a straight answer when a big decision, a hire, a lease, a new line of business, is on the table.
His work spans building cash flow models, running month-end close, advising on pricing and hiring decisions, and setting up financial systems from scratch for companies still running on spreadsheets, across industries from SaaS to professional services to non-profits, at businesses ranging from pre-revenue startups to companies doing eight figures a year.
